Email Composer Weblink Overview

Each email document in 'Email Composer Module' will have a unique weblink URL, you can preview this by going to your document, and hitting the 'Desktop preview' button located in the top right hand corner. 

When clicking into that icon, you will be provided with the document's unique weblink URL.

Email Composer has a feature in which users can customise URL, giving the document an identity and more attractive web link.

How Do I Customise the Weblink / document URL?

To do this, you will need to familiarise yourself with the publishing steps, which can be found via this link here. 

1. To custom the Weblink, access the publishing steps and scroll down to the step 'Publication',

2. If you intend to use the publishing wizard to solely change the Weblink of the document you can uncheck the "email" option. 

3. Ensure that you select "web", and the prompts will display. 

4. In the "my-page or root path" section, populate this area with the text you would like to display in the root path of your Weblink. 

5. Click publish, and the URL that you have just published, can now be shared among external stakeholders.
