The adjust tool will allow you to crop the images into different orientations, rotate and flip the images, that are essential editing techniques that allow you to enhance and modify your images.
How do I crop my image?
1. Using the image selector you can choose custom orientation to adjust it and move it to your desired focus. Whatever part of the image left outside the image selector will be removed/deleted.
2. Click on save to crop the image. Using the "enter" key from your keyboard will not work.
You will see a confirmation message that "Your image has been successfully saved." Click on Ok to close.
3. It will not be displayed on the editor that images has been cropped. You would need to Exit by clicking the X mark on the upper right hand corner of the Editor.
4. Click back into the image and you will see that image has been cropped.
Selecting an Image Orientation
This option allows you to select a default orientation for your images.
1. Social Media - You can select Facebook image orientation fit for Facebook Profile Image and Cover Photo.
2. Original - This is the original orientation of your image. The image selector fits the entire image.
3. Custom - This will allow you to freely move the image selector to whichever orientation and which section of the image you would want to capture.
4. Landscape - This will give your image a landscape orientation
5. Portrait - This will give your image a portrait orientation
6. Ellipse - This will give your images a circular orientation, you can drag left and right to give you an elongated orientation.
7. Classic TV - It gives you a 4:3 ratio on your image orientation.
8. Cinemascope - It gives you a 21:9 ration on your image orientation.
How do I rotate or flip my image?
1. Click the Adjust Tool on the left side of the Art Library Editor.
2. Underneath the image the Rotate and Flip option is displayed.
3. You can rotate and flip images by:
- Clicking Rotate
This will allow you to rotate your images 90 degrees to the left or to the right. - Clicking Flip X
This will allow you to flip your images left to right and vice versa. - Clicking Flip Y
This will allow you to flip your images from top to bottom and vice versa.
4. Click on Save to keep your preference. Using the "enter" key from your keyboard will not work.
You will see a confirmation message that "Your image has been successfully saved." Click on Ok to close. You would need to Exit by clicking the X mark on the upper right hand corner of the Editor. You will see that image has been rotated or flipped.
