Email Composer has different features that you can use in various ways!
If you uploaded a File into the File Library, and you don't want to use the usual "Insert File" option , you can get the link of the File and pop it into a Link Button to enhance the look and feel of it.
1. On an Article Widget, Click "Insert File" option from the Editor.
2. Use the search box to search for your File that you want to insert from File Library. Tick the box for your file > Add Link text or Display text and click on Link button. It will create a hyperlink text on your email.
3. Scroll all the way to the top right hand and click the Save Button.
4. After Saving, Click the Desktop Preview button:
5. Click the Web version URL which will open on another tab:
6. Click Begin and answer security check: (If there's no security check, proceed to next step)
7. When the web version of your email has loaded, scroll down to File Library Link you have inserted > Right Click and click on Copy Link Address.
8. Go back to Email Composer > Article Widget and Click on Link Button:
9. Add Button Text or Display Text for the Link button > Go to Button Link and paste the copied URL on the space below > Click Insert Button to create your link button for the File library file download.
10. Delete the Hyperlinked text above since you already have the Link Button for it. Test the email.
