Downloading the Events App and activating it for your account

1. Download the App

1. Go to the App Store on your iOS or Android device.

2. Search for the app called Swift Events (TIP: Use "Swift Digital" as your search term).

3. Click Get to install it.

4. For users/customers who already have existing app installed on their devices:

  • iOS users can directly go to "Search" tab on the "App Store" app & search for "Swift Events" & tap on "Update" button.
  • Android users will have to uninstall the old app and install the new one by going to "Play store" > search for "Swift Events" app > download.

 

2. API Configuration

Before you can start using the Swift Digital Events app, you will need to configure your account's API settings.
Note:

  • You must be an administrator of your account to configure the API settings.
  • Some accounts may already be active, in which case the events app will work right away.
  • This is done only once and is very easy to do.

To configure your account's API settings, simply log into the Suite from your computer (not via the app):

  1. Go to the Administration in the drop-down menu.
  2. Click Integration on the top menu bar.
  3. Click the API Keys tab.
  4. Click 'Regenerate' next to the SOAP API key. If there's already an existing key, you can just copy the code.
  5. Click Save and copy the API Key.

You are now ready to log into the app!

 

3. Log in to the app

When you first launch the app you will be required to log in. Simply use your regular Suite log-in details.

Please note your device must be running the iOS version must be 8.0 or later, and for Android 4.2 and up.

NOTE: If the app won't let you log in, it may be because your account does not have the Events module activated or your user profile does not have access to this module.
