SSO Auto Provisioning of Users for Swift Digital Suite Log In

This guide explains how to set up auto provisioning for your SSO configuration with Swift Digital Suite.

 

đź“‹ Prerequisites

  1. Swift Digital Suite administrator access 
    You are an administrator in the Swift Digital Suite platform (Administration → Account Settings).

  2. SSO is already configured and working 
    You have completed the SSO Setup Instructions and can successfully log in via SSO.

  3. Identity provider admin access 
    You have administrator (or equivalent) access to your organisation’s identity provider (e.g. Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace) and can:

    • Assign users/groups to the SSO application created, and

    • Update SSO group/user assignments as needed.

 

 

⚙️ Step by Step: Enable SSO Auto Provisioning of Users

  1. Log in to your Swift Digital Suite account as an administrator

  2. Go to SSO SETUP in Account Settings within the Administration module

  3. Click on the toggle for the Auto provision users to enable. This will open up the auto provisioning default access controls.

  4. Select the permissions to grant for the SSO auto provision users

    This example shows that SSO auto provision users will only have access to composer, landing pages, art, and file library.
  5. Click Save Settings

 

 

âś… Test SSO Auto Provision for Users

  1. Log in to your Swift Digital Suite account as an administrator

  2. Go to SSO SETUP in Account Settings within the Administration module

  3. Copy the Sign On URL

  4. Open a different browser, then paste and visit the Sign On URL. This triggers an account login if you are not logged in.

  5. After logging into your account:

    If MFA is also activated, you will be prompted to set it up if it has not been done.
    If the MFA setup has been completed, you will be asked to enter a one-time password.
    If MFA is not activated, you will be redirected to the Swift Digital Suite dashboard.
  6. Click Logout to log out as the user

  7. Log in to your Swift Digital Suite account as an administrator again

  8. Go to Users in Account Users within the Administration module

  9. Search the Auto provision user

    Auto provision user appears in the Swift Digital Suite user listing.
  10. Click on Auto provision user to check that the user details and permissions are correct

 

You're done. You have successfully set up and tested your SSO auto provisioning for users.
