This guide explains how to set up SAML SSO with Google Workspace and Swift Digital Suite.
⚙️ Step by Step: Setting up SSO with Google Workspace
Log in to your Google Account https://admin.google.com/ as an administrator
Go to the Apps from the options on the left of the screen
Click on Web and mobile apps
Click on Add app

Click on Add custom SAML app
Input an App name e.g Swift Digital Suite

Click on Continue
Log in to your Swift Digital Suite account as an administrator
Go to SSO SETUP in Account Settings within the Administration module

Copy the fields from the Google Identity Provider Details to the Single Sign-on Details Settings in Suite
SSO URL = IdP SSO Login URL
Entity ID = IdP Entity ID
Certificate (without -----BEGIN/END CERTIFICATE----- lines) = IdP X.509 Certificate

Input http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/emailaddress as the Email Attribute Name in the Suite
Click on Save Settings
Click on Continue in the Google Workspace

Copy the fields from the Swift Digital Suite Service Provider Details to the Basic SAML Configuration in Azure
Service Provider Entity ID = Entity ID
Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL) = ACS URL
Sign On URL = Start URL (Optional)
Select the Signed response checkbox
Select Email as Named ID format
Select Basic Information > Primary email as Name ID
Click on Continue
Select Primary email as Basic Information >
Input email as App attributes

Click on Finish

Click on v in the User access
Select ON for everyone to provide access to all users

Click on Save
You're done. Now test SSO using Google Workspace.
