To use a custom subdomain with Swift Digital Suite, you’ll point a subdomain you own (e.g. comms.yourdomain.com, events.yourdomain.com) to the Swift Digital Suite platform.
This keeps your event, landing page, and email links on-brand and gives visitors a consistent, trusted experience across all touchpoints.
A custom subdomain also reinforces your brand authority and improves user confidence in every campaign you send.
📋 Prerequisites
- Swift Digital Suite administrator access
You are an administrator in the Swift Digital Suite platform (Administration → Account Settings). - DNS/registrar access (network admin)
You (or your network/DNS administrator) can access your domain registrar/DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare) and can:Confirm the subdomain/domain name is available.Create or update the required DNS record(s) to point your subdomain to Swift Digital Suite.
⚠️ Important considerations
- Previously using a Swift Digital Suite subdomain
If you’ve been using a Swift Digital Suite subdomain (e.g., e-newsletter.com.au or i-events.info), your previous URLs will automatically forward to your new custom subdomain. - Changing from one custom subdomain to another
If you switch from one custom subdomain to another, you’re responsible for creating redirects from the old subdomain to the new one. Without a redirect, links using the old subdomain will stop working.
⚙️ Step by Step: Setting up Subdomain
Log in to your Registrar
Choose your subdomain and confirm with your network administrator that it is available and not already in use e.g webseries.swiftdigital.com.au
Set up and point your custom subdomain
Once it is available, ask your network administrator to configure it and point it to the Swift Digital Suite using one of the following methods:
Method one: CNAME Record (Preferred method) Point to: suite.swiftdigital.com.au | Method two: A Record (Use only if CNAME is not possible) Point to: 75.2.75.220 |
