PASTING FROM WORD/ WEB/ EMAIL
Pasting directly from Microsoft Word can corrupt your email and destabilise the layout of your contents, because a lot of underlying formatting is added from Word as well which is not compatible with emails. And what’s worst? It’s irreversible.
What happens if you paste from Word?
- It can break your email formatting, causing irregular spacing.
- Misalignment of texts and blocks.
- Makes the size of your email very large.
- Slow loading speeds.
- Images that are pasted directly from Word can't be displayed in sent
emails. In order to be displayed, images should be either inserted into the
Art Library or hosted online elsewhere. - You will need to recreate your email.
USE NOTEPAD OR TEXT EDIT INSTEAD
Add your copy on Notepad (Windows OS) or Text Edit (for Mac) to convert as pure text and remove formatting. This process will be good for your email to stay consistent with its original format and layout.
For Text Edit, it accepts rich texts such or embedded formatting, please make sure to format as Plain Text before copying.
USING GRAMMARLY

and having Grammarly enabled, there will be coding issues in your documents. Reason being, Grammarly adds extra lines in your HTML. Like the image below:
What happens if you enable Grammarly while editing your email?
