How do I know when some members fail to sync?

You will be able to see a summary of sync by creating a list view on Object Swift Log.

Steps:

1. Create Tab for object Swift Log
2. Create a List View with Filter "Level" Equals "Sync Logs"
   

   You could open Sync Log record and see summary of Sync. Please see the screenshot:
