What happens when mapped fields are of different field types? Such as single text field matched with drop down fields?

Both Salesforce and Swift Digital will allow non-compatible field mappings to co-exist. However the non-existing values will be added upon sync. This is often not desirable; best practise is to ensure the field types with drop downs and options are 100% matching.
